CAPROCK PARTNERS APPOINTS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Industrial real estate investment and development firm adds real estate finance veteran to oversee financial planning, investment activities 

Newport Beach, Calif. – March 16, 2020 – CapRock Partners, a California-based industrial real estate investment and development firm, today announced the bolstering of its leadership team with the addition of Craig Motichko, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer. 

Motichko brings more than 15 years of real estate finance experience to CapRock Partners. In this capacity, Motichko is responsible for the financial strategy, cash flow management and the overall strategic financial structure of CapRock Partners and leads all accounting, treasury, payroll, tax, informational technology and financial reporting activities. He also works closely with CapRock Partners’ CEO and President in all lender and banking interactions, institutional fundraising and investor relationships.

CapRock Partners is one of the most active middle-market investors and developers of large-scale institutional-quality, Class A industrial warehouse facilities across the Western U.S. In 2020, CapRock Partners, along with its partners, will be under construction on four separate 1-million-square-foot, Class A industrial projects in California and Nevada. In addition, CapRock Partners is actively acquiring value-add industrial buildings throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Prior to joining CapRock Partners, Motichko was vice president in the Newport Beach office of PIMCO, focused on financial control and treasury for PIMCO’s private equity investment funds including the firm’s North and South American real estate holdings. He also served as a senior manager in the audit practice at Ernst & Young, performing audits and consulting services in the real estate, hospitality and construction sectors.  

Motichko earned his Master of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Oklahoma State University.
