Sean Grubbs serves as First Vice President, Capital Markets at CapRock Partners. He joined CapRock to manage CapRock’s existing lender relationships and lead the debt efforts on sourcing loans for the company including permanent loans, construction loans, and bridge loans. Sean brings his significant capital markets experience to CapRock given his decade working at premier national lenders and earlier in his career working on the development side of the business.

Prior to joining CapRock, Sean served as a Senior Relationship Manager in Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate balance sheet lending group, where he covered many of the top commercial real estate developers and investors in Orange County. During his tenure at Bank of America, Sean originated over $2.5 billion in new loans-ranging from construction, reposition, and permanent project secured loans as well as entity level financing solutions.

Previous to joining Bank of America, Sean held analyst roles in Wells Fargo’s CRE balance sheet lending group and at Western National Group, an Orange County based developer and investor focused on multifamily properties.

Sean graduated with a business degree from Pepperdine University where he was a three-year starter on the Men’s Volleyball team. He is actively involved in NAIOP SoCal and is a graduate of the 2018-19 NAIOP Young Professional’s Group. He’s held various philanthropic leadership positions including Community Outreach chair for the NAIOP YPG program and most recently served as a Board Member for HomeAid’s Orange County chapter from 2019-2022 He lives with his wife and three daughters in South Orange County.
